Bricklayer Connection Australia is part of Australian Brick and Blocklaying Training Foundation (ABBTF). A non-for-profit organisation that has been established for over 20 years.

How we can help bricklayers and labourers to find work in Australia.

Whether you are overseas and contemplating a Working Holiday Visa, seeking sponsorship or have created your own Permanent Residency pathway, are on your way to Australia, or have just landed from overseas – we can help! 

  • We can guide you to where the work is and connect you to a range of brick/ blockaying and labour employers across many states.
  • Offer you FREE industry standard training that will make you more attractive to employers (non-accredited)
  • Show you where and how to get your White Card so that you are ready to go on site.

How we can help employers

We can offer you a FREE pair of hands when it comes to helping with your resource needs. We will work with you to understand the kinds of candidates that you are looking for, whether that is short-, mid- or long-term planning, we are here for you. 

  • We contact you to understand your resource needs and timings. We can work via phone, text or email, whichever works best for you.
  • We will ask you about the kinds of candidates you need, skill level and Visa preference (all of which we can help you to understand.
  • We will connect you to talent that we have on our database, you can trial the candidate and if both parties are happy, you and the candidate work out the employment details directly.
  • We can advise candidates how to obtain their White Card and advise them of any necessary induction details (if applicable)
  • We can offer FREE industry standard training to candidates to help educate them in Australian standards. Whilst this is not accredited training, we see this as adding value to our industry.

Hello, I am the CEO for Brick and Block Careers, Roof Tile Careers and Bricklayer Connection Australia. 

I’ve been involved in the construction industry for over 30 years, with a background spanning recruitment, vocational education, and building strong teams.

My experience includes successfully scaling Apprenticeship Careers Australia and securing key government contracts. I’m passionate about driving positive outcomes for both individuals and businesses within the construction sector.

Hi, I’m Kate. I am originally from the UK and moved to Australia 15 years ago. My husband and I were lucky enough to come here on an employer sponsored Visa so I know only too well how exciting and sometimes daunting, the journey can be.

I have been working at Bricklayer Connection Australia right from the start and have met some wonderful migrants and helped so many people.
